GOING AWOL ON THE TRANSCONTINENTAL RACE

London to Istanbul within two weeks, overcoming more than 3100km,
30.000m of altitude gain and crossing 14 european borders.

The last 8 month I have bin spending more time cycling and working out to become stronger on the bike.

This has led to a lot of cycling and workout related posts on my photo/personal blog (http://staffetk.tumblr.com) so instead of keep making that blog a total mix of photography, dogs, hiking, bikes and kettlebells I decided to start this blog.
So for you who want to follow my photography/videography keep following http://staffetk.tumblr.com and for mountain bikers, road cyclist and workout interested people follow this blog. I will keep you up to date with both my setbacks and progress and I will post both training logs, video and photos from my rides etc. 
I have goals that I want to achieve in 2014 and these will help me complete the big endurance races I have planned for 2015. But I will get back to those specific goals soon. 
Hope you decide to follow my road to becoming a stronger person as well as a stronger rider. And if you have thoughts/critique on my workouts etc please share with me! I am new to this.

Road2Strong my new blog

The last 8 month I have bin spending more time cycling and working out to become stronger on the bike.

Picked up two new kettlebells (32kg & 24kg) today so I can start working on my goals for 2014. 
Today was my 4th workout this year and I started to move up to the 24kg from my 16kg. 
5 turkish get up per side, first I did 1 per side with 16 kg then I did 2 per side with 24kg, that was hard and each rep took longer time but I kept my form tight. Then I did 2 more per side with the 16kg (it felt really light after the 24kg)
10x10 24kg two handed swings, this was hard but not to hard and I made it in 10 minuts.

I see a lot of post on Facebook by friends who workout in gyms ore “health clubs” that they are now over crowed by new years resoluters. Glad that I don’t have that problem with my kettlebells.
